El COVID es mucho más que una enfermedad que afecta a las vías respiratorias y lesiona los pulmones, tiene otras implicaciones físicas y sistémicas que repercuten en el diario vivir; sin embargo, muchas implicaciones existenciales se vislumbran y, no solo relacionadas con la idea de muerte, que tal vez en este tiempo ha dejado de ser tan generalizada, pero si en la revisión de dimensiones como la corporalidad, temporalidad y espacialidad que modifican la forma de co-existir, de mirarse y de mirar al otro. Aquí se comparte un análisis de caso personal sobre la experiencia de infectarse con Covid y el análisis de los conceptos de temporalidad, espacialidad y corporalidad asociados a esa experiencia. Se identifican aspectos de re-visión de la persona y también las implicaciones psicológicas y emocionales producto de la enfermedad, la forma de relacionarse con el otro, con el tiempo y con su nueva forma de vida.

Abstract

Covid is more than a disease that affects the respiratory tract and damages the lungs, it has systemic and physical implications that affect daily life. However, various existential implications appear, not only related to the idea of death, which perhaps at this moment has ceased to be so general, but also in the revision of dimensions of the ontological structure of Dasein such as corporeality, temporality, and spatiality that modifies the way of living together, of looking at ourselves and others. Below is a personal case analysis of the experience of being infected with COVID and the analysis of the concepts of temporality, spatiality and corporeality associated with this experience. The review aspects of the person are identified, as well as the psychological and emotional implications associated with this disease, the way of relating to others, over time and with a new lifestyle.
